Het herfst seizoen is net begonnen en dat zien we buiten al terug aan de gekleurde bladeren aan de bomen. In de klas is het ontzettend leuk om met de kinderen aan de slag te gaan met het thema herfst. Bij allerlei vakken kun je het herfst thema terug laten komen.
Een leuke start voor het nieuwe herfst thema is om met de leerlingen te inventariseren waar zij aan denken bij de herfst. In de onderbouw kun je ze op een van de onderstaande bladen laten tekenen waar zij aan denken bij de herfst. In de bovenbouw kun je de leerlingen onder andere een woordweb laten maken bij het thema herfst. Ook zit er een placemat bij in het herfst thema die je kunt gebruiken met je klas om een coöperatieve werkvorm mee toe te passen.
Coöperatieve werkvorm met het placemat
Er worden groepjes van vier leerlingen gemaakt en zij krijgen ieder een placemat blad. In het midden van het placemat staat een rechthoek en daaromheen zijn vier vakken, voor iedere leerling één. De leerkracht zet een opdracht rondom het thema herfst op het bord bijvoorbeeld een vraag. De leerlingen gaan hierover nadenken en schrijven in hun eigen vakje hun eigen antwoord op. Daarna gaan zij in overleg met elkaar en formuleren zij als groepje een gezamenlijk antwoord en dit schrijven ze in het middelste vak op. Daarna kan er klassikaal worden uitgewisseld welke antwoorden er gevonden zijn. Er komen verschillende samenwerkingsvormen bij aan bod tijdens deze werkvorm, denk aan: luisteren, overleggen en tot een gemeenschappelijk antwoord komen. Duur: 10 tot 15 minuten. In te zetten vanaf groep 3/4.
Bladen downloaden
Onder iedere voorbeeld foto staat het linkje naar het downloadbare bestand. Voel je vrij om deze bladen te downloaden en te gebruiken tijdens je lessen rondom het thema herfst!
Ook leuk: na de herfstvakantie aan de hand van dit blad met de leerlingen bespreken wat zij allemaal hebben gedaan. Ze kunnen hier een verhaaltje over schrijven of een tekening van maken. De leerlingen kunnen ook rondlopen met hun blad en aan elkaar laten zien of vertellen wat zij hebben gedaan.
